Clinic Policies

Last updated: June 2026

1. Appointments

All consultations are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked by contacting our clinic directly. We aim to offer appointments within 7-14 days of your enquiry. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

2. Patient Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for all patients and staff. We ask that patients:

  • Treat all clinic staff with courtesy and respect
  • Provide accurate and complete medical information
  • Follow the treatment plan agreed with your doctor
  • Inform us of any changes to your health or medications
  • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of other patients

Abusive, threatening or violent behaviour towards staff or other patients will result in immediate termination of the consultation and may lead to refusal of future treatment.

3. Confidentiality

All patient information is treated as strictly confidential. Your medical records, consultation notes, and personal details will not be shared with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law. All staff are bound by confidentiality agreements and professional codes of conduct.

4. Payment

Consultation fees are €195 for an initial consultation. Payment is due at the time of consultation. We accept cash and card payments. A deposit is required at the time of booking, which is deducted from your consultation fee. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for deposit terms.

5. Prescriptions

Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of the consulting doctor following a thorough assessment. Repeat prescriptions require a review consultation. We do not issue prescriptions without a consultation. Prescriptions for isotretinoin (Roaccutane) require regular monitoring in accordance with medical guidelines.

6. Treatment of Minors

Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their consultation. Both the minor and the guardian must provide consent for treatment.

7. Medical Records

We maintain detailed medical records for all patients. You have the right to access your records under GDPR. Requests for medical records should be made in writing. Please allow up to 30 days for processing. See our GDPR Policy for more information.

8. Complaints Procedure

We take patient feedback seriously. If you have a concern about your care or experience, please contact the clinic manager. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days.

9. Infection Control

We maintain strict infection control protocols in line with HSE and HIQA standards. All equipment is sterilised, and clinic rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
