Carlin wins final race in 5K series

Finn Valley's Kieran Carlin claimed victory in the last of the four race 5K series on Friday night when leading the field of 78 home in a time of 16:03. Second was Letterkenny AC's Ivan Toner with Finn Valley's Ian Ward third in 16:20. Finn Valley's Catriona McGranaghan won the senor women's section in 17:53.

Letterkenny had three other runners in the top ten - Garvin Walker (8th in 17:28), Marcus McClintock (9th in 17:33) and Joe English (10th in 17:36)
