Table quiz

Letterkenny Athletic Club will hold a table quiz in Arena 7 on Wednesday, March 24th at 9.30 pm. Tables of four, charge is donation only. Quiz master is Paddy Kelly.

Michelle English placed third in the Irish Universities Athletic Association cross country championships in Cork on Saturday and helped DCU to team gold. Recent signing, Patrick Brennan came seventh in the men's race when running for University of Galway.

Ivan Toner was second in Friday night's Finn Valley 5K behind Kevin Holian - Ivan's time was 16:24. Other LAC runners among the top ten were Martin Gormley (6th in 17:29), Joe English (8th in 17:40) and Marcus McClintock (9th in 17:47). For full results, click here

Tony Hannigan scooped the club's jackpot of 1,620 euro on Saturday night when matching the four winning numbers - 3, 11, 12 and 22 - drawn out at the Glencar Inn. Training continues every Tuesday on Thursday nights at 6.30 pm and everyone is welcome.
