Letterkenny AC's Kieran Doherty led a large field of runners home in Friday night's Finn Valley 5K road race staged in Aghyaran in a time of 15:21, with the Finn Valley pair of Kieran Carlin and Ian Ward taking second and third in 16:11 and 16:28.

Teresa McGloin of Finn Valley continued her good form on the road when posting a time of 16:45 to take victory in the senior women's section. Helena Crossan from Inishowen was second woman home in 18:43, with Kay Byrne of Finn Valley third in 19:19.
