THE club had 18 athletes in Donegal Town last Friday night for the 5k as part of the Grand Prix season.

Johnny Patton was the star of the show for the club with a personal best. The club participants in the race were: Jonathan Patton (15.48), Ivan Toner (15.58), Pauric O’Donnell (16.45), Gavin Crawford (16.50), Michael Black (17.26) Darragh Dawson (17.28), Ciaran O’Donnell (18.09), Greg Campbell (18.45), John A McMullen (19.03), Seamus Gallagher (19.21), Francis Judge (19.24), Noel Lynch (19.26), Mark Bolton (19.38), Richard Raymond (19.51) CJ McGinley (20.36) Gerard Mullen (20.49).

Congratulations to the Juvenile Board for their great work last Sunday on co-hosting the Northern Ireland Ulster Schools Games. The club members deserve great credit for the professional way they helped co-ordinate the day.

Tomorrow (Saturday) night the focus switches to Buncrana for the annual 10k which starts at 6.30pm.

The lotto numbers were 1, 10, 17 and 18. There was no winner. Match three winner was Joe English. The jackpot this weekend is €1,230.
