IN a fantastic night of racing Pauric McKinney (Letterkenny AC) made it a hat-trick of victories when he out kicked NI 5k champion Greg Roberts (City of Derry) by one second to win the Buncrana 5 K race in 15.16 last Friday night.

A great crowd of 171 runners turned out despite the stiff competition from a game in Rome. Well done to all. Pauric O’Donnell (8th) was the second LAC man over the line in a time of 16.32 followed by John Daly (13th) 16.58, Dara Crossan (17th) 17.08, Martin Gormley (18th) 17.09, Joe English (36th) 17.55, Ciaran O’Donnell (42nd) 18.16, Conor Delap (50th) 18.45, Gerry Ryan (54th) 18.48, Noel Lynch (68th) 19.12, Garvan McCloskey (69th) 19.17, Richard Raymond (84th) 19.40, Mark Bolton (85th) 19.42, Paul Harris (86th) 19.50, Dan Rosney (99th), 21.03, and Laura Corbett (146) 24.46.

The club is hosting the Ulster Schools finals at Aura Leisure Centre on Sunday- so any help from club members on the day would be appreciated.

The lotto numbers last weekend were 1, 6, 12 and 18. There was four match two winners. They were Packie McGinley, C./o Cottage Bar, Kathleen Blake, C/o Blakes Bar, Johnny McGlynn, C/o Blakes Bar and Yvonne Colclough, 4 Carnamuggagh Close, Letterkenny. The jackpot this weekend is €1,220.
