Doherty wins again in Drumhalla

Letterkenny AC's Ciaran Doherty continued his winning ways on Friday night when winning the Drumhalla 5K. Doherty's time of 15:05 earned him a third successive grand prix victory, having won the Manor 5K and Churhill 5K last week. Runner up on Friday night was his club mate, Pauric McKinney in 15:55 with another Letterkenny AC man, Ivan Toner, taking the final podium place in 16:25. Letterkenny AC also took the honours in the senior women's section with Shelia Regan doing the business in 20:37, while Laura Corbett won the over-35 women's category in 23:54.
