The effort to ensure that Donegal’s best young Sportshall athletes are selected to represent the county in the upcoming championships continues this weekend with a final trial scheduled for Sunday (31st January).

The Abbey voc. School Donegal town will host this event (12 noon) having drawn a large crowd of talented young athletes two weeks ago to the first trial.

With fierce competition at further trials in Dungloe and Carndonagh since. Sportshall Co-ordinator Neil Cullen feels confident that the best have surfaced but this final trial will ensure that any athlete missing earlier opportunities to impress can make a late challenge for county selection.

U/13 and U/15 boys and girls (on the 1st September 2009) are invited to Donegal town on Sunday.

The west Ulster final is scheduled for Thursday 11th February in Enniskillen. Teams selected be in local press next weekend Entry fee to trials €3.00 per athletes.
