The annual Goal mile takes place tonight, Thursday, between 6.30 pm and 8 pm at the Danny McDaid Track at the Aura Leisure Centre. People of all ages and ability are encouraged to come along, complete a mile and make a donation to a worthy charity.

The club will hold its annual turkey trot on Sunday, December 20th. The race will start at the Ramada Hotel at 10:30am, with registration at Aura from 9.30 am. Entry fee is €8.00 and the ten runners who run closest to their predicted time will win a turkey. The presentation will be held at Aura immediately after the race.

There was no winner of the weekly jackpot. The numbers drawn on Saturday night were 11, 20, 22 and 24. The four match four winners were Robert Orr, Jim McLaughlin, Paul Toner and Adrian Callaghan.
