Letterkenny AC - Juvenile Training

Now that the Easter holidays are over, training for juveniles continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6.30pm), with summer competition at track and field just around the corner. It’s essential that all juveniles attend training over the next few weeks. With competition dates as follows – Donegal children’s games U/9-U/13 (Thursday 21st May) at the Finn Valley Centre.

Ulster children’s games U/9-U/10-U/11 and championships for U/12 and U/13 at the Aura Leisure centre Letterkenny (Sunday 7th June).

National finals of children’s games (U/9-U/10-U/11) on Sunday 27th June in Templemore Co. Tipperary.

The club intends to have their own championships in these age groups starting first week in May over three sessions at the appropriate events for those age groups.

So athletes born years 1997- 2001 (inclusive) should make every effort to be selected for Donegal, Ulster and National finals. New members in these age groups welcome.

Athletes U/14- U/19 should also note that attendance at training is essential for Donegal track and field championships Saturday 23rd May with Ulster championships in Antrim Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June.

Again it should be noted only athletes in training will be entered for Ulster championships.
