Well done to Martin Gormley and Gavin Walker who placed second and third respectively in the first staging of the Ballyliffin 10 mile Coastal Challenge on Saturday. The race was won by Tir Conaill's Paul Ward in 58:10, with Martin second in 59:51 and Gavin third in 60:18. Almost 300 took part in the event.

On Easter Sunday, the club hosted it's annual 3K time trial and this blow-out attracted 52 runners. Finn Valley's Kevin Holian took victory in 9:09, with the Letterkenny AC pair of Pauric McKinney and Ivan Toner second and third in 9:12 and 9:27.

Maria McCambridge won the senior women's section in the recent Larne Half Marathon in 78 minutes. Other club runners who took part in the half marathon included Gavin Walker (1:24), Neil McCollum (1:34), Garvan McCloskey (1::39), Gabriel McCrossan (1:43) and Michelle Duffy (1:57).
